
The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University brings the world’s leading authors to the university’s uptown campus for a multi-day celebration for book lovers of all ages.
The fourth annual New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University will take place March 12-15, 2026, on Tulane’s uptown campus. The festival is free and open to the public. Submissions for application to the 2026 festival will open in June 2025 and close on September 15, 2025.
The festival kicks off with an exciting opening session on the evening of Thursday, March 12, followed by two full days of programming on Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. New in 2026, Family Day at the Fest will move to Sunday, March 15 at 10 a.m.
Please note, Sunday’s programming will be exclusively dedicated to Family Day, with no additional sessions for general audiences.
The author lineup will be announced in November 2025 and the full schedule of sessions for the 2026 festival will be announced in the weeks before the festival.
