Volunteering at the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University offers a unique opportunity for individuals to contribute to the vibrant tapestry of this literary celebration. By lending a helping hand, volunteers become integral to the seamless execution of the event, ensuring its success and leaving a lasting impact on the festival and our community.

Volunteers will receive a book festival shirt, meals during shift(s), and a chance to meet some of the 150+ authors.
At the festival, volunteers generally serve in 4-hour shifts in a variety of capacities including:
- Signing Assistant
- Usher/Line Manager
- Reserved Seating Manager
- Info Booth Assistant
- Festival Runner
- Family Day
Volunteer sign-up will be available in the weeks leading up to the 2025 festival.
