The New Orleans Book Festival will be held on Tulane University’s uptown campus. All Book Festival venues are conveniently located around the Berger Family Lawn in the center of Tulane’s campus. A map of the Tulane University uptown campus can be found here.
Parking for the The New Orleans Book Festival will be available in the perimeter parking lots located on Tulane University’s uptown campus. Shuttles will be available to transport attendees from these lots to the Bruff Commons shuttle stop near the Lavin-Bernick Center. More information on parking can be found here.
Over 120 nationally-recognized and award-winning authors will participate in sessions and panels throughout the festival. Admission to the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University is free and open to the public. All seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
All festival venues and stage locations are wheelchair accessible. Volunteers will be on hand to assist festival attendees. Click here to request accommodations.
Proof of at least two doses (full vaccination) of vaccine (state’s verification app showing proof of vaccine; original CDC Vaccination Card; OR digital photograph/photocopy of both sides of CDC Vaccination Card)
Negative COVID-19 test (paper or digital test results from a COVID-19 test indicating negative results within the past 72 hours)
There will be multiple vaccine checkpoints near and around the Lavin-Bernick Center.
