Brittany Paige Alexandra Gondolfi is a children’s author, attorney, and creative educator from Louisiana whose work sits at the intersection of storytelling, environmental justice, and joyful learning. She wrote Look Up! Fontaine the Pigeon Starts a Revolution, a humorous and heart-filled story about pigeons determined to help humans put down their phones and get back to reality. The beautifully illustrated graphic-novel-esque picture book was a finalist for the 2024 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Award and won second place for best illustrations from the Moonbeam Awards..

Gondolfi has spent more than a decade designing learning experiences for young people, from Reggio Emilia–inspired preschool ateliers to project-based high school programs that explore activism, creativity, and environmental care. She founded youth writing clubs, facilitated cross-cultural exchanges, curated student exhibitions, and led cross-country learning adventures for teens to meet Indigenous environmental leaders.

As an attorney and consultant with Bioneers, she supports Tribal youth who are writing Rights of Nature laws that recognize rivers, forests, and fish as living relatives with legal rights. Her work blends ecological law, community organizing, and the belief that young people can transform the future.

A proud Louisianian native, Gondolfi grew up delighting in the Louisiana Children’s Museum and the bayous of Lake Maurepas, where her imagination first took flight. She says, “If Lake Ponchartrain is a clock, I have grown up from 6 o'clock to midnight. Since growing up, she has traveled the world, learning about culture, nature, and justice, always returning home to integrate what she has learned. She still lives near the Lake with her daughter, her greatest collaborator and daily reminder to stay curious and courageous.
