Bruce Spizer is a native and life-long resident of New Orleans. He attended Newman School for 13 years and Tulane University for seven years, receiving a B.A. in economics with honors, an MBA concentrating in marketing and finance, and a Juris Doctor law degree, serving as the Business Manager for the Tulane Law Review. Bruce has had his own law firm for over 40 years. He is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Administration and as a Tax Law Specialist by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. He is also first-generation Beatles fan who has written 17 critically acclaimed books on the group, including “The Beatles Are Coming! The Birth of Beatlemania in America” and his nine-book Beatles Album Series. His most recent book is “Beatles For Sale to Help!” His articles have appeared in American History, Beatlefan, and Goldmine. Bruce is a frequent guest on local, national and international television and radio programs and has been a featured speaker at numerous Beatles conventions and symposiums, the Grammy Museum, the Paley Center for Media, the American Film Institute, and the Rock ’N’ Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Bruce serves as a consultant for Universal Music Group, Capitol Records and Apple Corps, Ltd. on Beatles projects.
