Jim Cramer is the host of CNBC’s Mad Money and co-anchor of Squawk on the Street. He also leads the CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer, a subscription-based platform designed to help investors make informed, long-term decisions in the stock market. In addition to his on-air work, Cramer is the founder of the financial news and analysis website TheStreet.
Before his television career, Cramer was a successful hedge fund manager and co-founder of Cramer Berkowitz, where he served as senior partner. A graduate of Harvard College, he served as president and editor-in-chief of The Harvard Crimson before working as a journalist for the Tallahassee Democrat and Los Angeles Herald Examiner. He later helped launch American Lawyer magazine with Steve Brill before earning his law degree from Harvard Law School. After passing the New York State Bar, Cramer joined Goldman Sachs, where he worked in sales and trading while contributing market commentary to The New Republic.
