Jordan Salcito is an award-winning sommelier and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience at renowned restaurants including Momofuku, Restaurant Daniel, and Eleven Madison Park, where she was part of the team to win the James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Wine Service. Her wine programs at Momofuku earned national recognition in The New York Times, Eater, and Food & Wine, and were named "Most Creative Wine List in the World" by World of Fine Wine magazine.
Salcito passed the tasting portion of the Master Sommelier exam on her first try and worked harvests at several of Burgundy's most celebrated wineries, including Domaines Dujac, Comtes Lafon, and Georges Mugneret-Gibourg.
While on maternity leave from her role as Wine Director for David Chang's Momofuku restaurants, Jordan pioneered the ready-to-drink beverage category by founding Drink RAMONA, a collection of award-winning organic Italian spritzes made from Italian grapes and Sicilian citrus. She is widely credited with introducing the first quality canned wine to market.
A Wine Enthusiast 40 Under 40 honoree and two-time James Beard Award semi-finalist for Outstanding Wine, Spirits, or Beer Professional, Jordan's debut book, Smart Mouth: Wine Essentials for You, Me, and Everyone We Know (Ten Speed | Oct 2025) aims to democratize the world of wine, empowering readers with confidence to talk about what they love to drink, and why.
Jordan lives in Paris with her husband, Robert, and their two sons.
