Renée Zuckerbrot is a literary agent and founder of the Renée Zuckerbrot Agency, where she represents authors at all stages of their careers, from debut writers to established voices. Before launching her agency, she worked as an editor at Doubleday and Franklin Square Press/Harper’s Magazine. Passionate about championing her clients, she takes a hands-on approach to every aspect of the publishing process, from project development and editing to contract negotiation, marketing, and career strategy.
Zuckerbrot is a member of the AAR and Authors Guild, serves on PEN’s Membership Committee, and sits on the boards of the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP) and Slice Magazine. Her insights on publishing have been featured in Poets & Writers, and she has shared her love of short fiction with Storyville.
