Now in its fourth chapter, the New Orleans Book Festival is set to captivate book lovers from across the globe, offering a rich tapestry of local and national authors, musicians and thought leaders. This unparalleled celebration of literature promises to be a Mardi Gras for the mind, infused with the vibrant spirit of New Orleans. Expect live musical performances, culinary showcases, and engaging discussions with some of the city’s most dynamic writers and public figures.
Continuing the momentum from previous years, the festival will serve as a dynamic platform for exploring diverse genres, dissecting current affairs, and delving into the latest literary trends. Due to a bustling slate of events in the spring calendar, next year’s festival will take place later in March. The festivities will kick off with opening sessions on Thursday, March 27, followed by a full lineup of programming on Friday and Saturday. Saturday, March 29, will be Family Day at the Fest, featuring an array of activities tailored for children and families, including appearances by local and national children’s authors.
