Submissions are now open for the 2025 New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University. We invite talented authors from all genres to submit work for consideration for the upcoming festival.
The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University is a highly anticipated event in the literary world and attracts a diverse range of readers, writers, publishers and book lovers. The festival provides a platform for established and emerging authors and thought leaders to showcase their work, connect with readers, and engage in stimulating conversations all nestled in an iconic university and a city with a rich literary history.
The fourth annual festival will take place March 27-29, 2025 and kicks off with opening sessions on Thursday, March 27. The majority of programming will follow on Friday and Saturday. Family Day at the Fest will take place on Saturday, March 29 and will feature children’s and family programming including local and national children’s authors.
Call for Submissions:
The festival is seeking submissions from authors of diverse range of genres and age groups. Priority will be given to books published within the last 12 months, especially those contributing to current public discourse. Selected authors will have the opportunity to participate in panel discussions and conversations, showcasing their work and engaging with a vibrant literary community.
Submissions will be accepted through September 15, 2024. Authors selected for the festival will be notified by November 2024.
