Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane is excited to announce the opening of two new exhibitions: "The Moss Mystique: Southern Women and Newcomb Pottery" and "Making Her Mark" — complementary exhibitions that explore how Newcomb Pottery transformed women’s artistic training into professional practice while shaping ideas of Southern identity through nature-inspired design. Together, they illuminate Newcomb Pottery’s central role within the museum’s collections and highlight Newcomb’s lasting impact on women’s education and American decorative arts. Now on view through December 4.
