The New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University brings the world’s leading authors to the university’s uptown campus for a multi-day celebration for book lovers of all ages. 

The fourth annual New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University will take place March 27-29, 2025 on Tulane’s uptown campus. The festival is free and open to the public. Submissions for application to the festival will open later in the summer and lineup of authors will be announced closer to the end of the year. 

Registration

Registration will be required for the New Orleans Book Festival. While registration is not mandatory, it offers several benefits to our attendees, authors, and the festival as a whole:

  • Community Building: By registering, you’re joining the New Orleans Book Festival at Tulane University community. This helps us foster a more connected and engaged festival atmosphere, enhancing the sense of community among book lovers.
  • Improved Programming: Your registration provides valuable insights into the preferences and interests of our attendees, which is instrumental in shaping future programming and ensuring we continue to bring the topics, authors, and discussions you love.
  • Future Communication: Registrations allow us an easy way to connect and communicate with our community. By providing your email address and opting-in to receiving messaging from us, we will be able to easily communicate new authors announcements, programming updates and invite you to other events we host throughout the year.

Registration for the 2025 festival will open in the weeks leading up to the festival.
